The UGOT AI Space Exploration Kit engages students in AI and computer science learning through collaborative activities completed with easy-to-build, yet versatile robots and Python programming. Geared for grades 7 through 12, the kit immerses students in a hands-on curriculum where they can build 5 different UGOT robots and use programming to complete several exploratory missions. Groups will work together as a part of the ‘Red Planet Pioneers’ and overcome various challenges, applying AI concepts such as natural language processing, sound localization, sensor integration, and more. With this kit, students can develop and practice real-world problem-solving, engineering and computational thinking, collaborative learning, and enhanced problem-solving.
