Description
Type 1EOR RH Quick Action Deadbolt secures doors fast in times of crisis, and functions as a standard lock for day-to-day use. Students or teachers can easily secure their fast by using a red button set on the inside of the door. The outside lever does not change when red button is pressed, meaning security stays stealth if an active intruder is present. Designed for a door that opens to the right and swings toward the inside of the room when opened. Door must be unlocked from the outside to resume normal door functioning. This is a type 1 deadbolt, however, meaning the door does not automatically lock if someone presses the door lever to let themself out. This setup supports 1 external mortise lock with a removable core for simple installation and lock changing. Use on doors with 8-inch Mortise Openings.
