Description

Type 2 LH Quick Action Deadbolt secures doors fast in times of crisis, and functions as a standard lock for day-to-day use. Students or teachers can easily secure their classroom with a deadbolt fast by using a red button set on the inside of the door. The outside lever does not change when the red button is pressed, meaning security stays stealth if an active intruder is present. This lock functions solely on a door that opens to the left and swings toward the inside of the room when opened. This is a type 2 deadbolt, meaning if someone presses the door lever to let themself out after the deadbolt has been activated, this door will automatically relock from the inside once the person shuts the door behind them Use on doors with 8-inch Mortise Openings.
