Sax Colorburst Glaze in Black Opal is ideal for one-of-a-kind pieces. Every application and firing will produce different results for beautiful, unique pottery and ceramics. The painting glaze may appear a different color during application and change to the desired look after the required firing in a kiln. Our ceramic glaze paint creates multi-colored patterns and designs when fired, with options to create dramatic effects by combining other glazes within a similar firing range. The base glaze boils and crystals lose shape and fade when fired at cone 6.
